Hi, I am Beks.

Growing up I was always surrounded by dogs, whether they be our own or family members dogs.

In 2020, circumstances meant that me and my husband could finally welcome a dog of our own into the family. Along came a puppy cocker spaniel, he brought so much joy to our lives we decided to extend the pack and welcomed another cocker spaniel pup a year later. Yes, we did decide to take on two mad spaniels but wouldn’t have it any other way. Being high energy dogs, walks are a big part of our daily routine. Luckily we enjoy going on hikes and long country walks at the weekends, for the boys this is the best time of the week. As they get to enjoy being dogs in nature. During the week we will visit the local park to do some training sessions to revisit the basics like heeling, recall etc.

It was during these walks and training sessions with the boys that I realised that I wanted to persue this is a career. So I put a plan into action and along came pawsitive steps with Beks. I completed a first aid course so you’ll know your companion is in safe hands and have signed myself up to a professional dog training course so I can improve on my current knowledge and share this with you.

My aim is to be able to help other new or experienced dog owners with their furry companions. Whether that be my walking, drop-in, training or chaperone services. Please get in contact if I can assist you with any of these services.
