At Pawsitive Steps with Beks, I understand that life with a puppy—or a dog who’s struggling with big emotions—can feel overwhelming, isolating, and exhausting. If you’re feeling unsure, frustrated, or worried about getting things wrong, you’re not alone. I provide professional, modern dog training services, using kind, evidence-based methods that prioritise trust, safety, and understanding.
Through private and group sessions, behaviour modification, and supportive owner education, I can help you and your dog learn at your own pace. Helpng you feel confident, informed, and supported. There’s no judgement and no quick fixes—just clear guidance, compassion, and practical training. That helps you build a calm, respectful relationship with your dog.
Bek’s Dog Training Services:
Initial Consultation & Assessment
As part of this sevice I will complete a behavioural review around the issues you and your dog are having. I will then set a training plan for you to work on over the following weeks with regular check ins. If you require further assistance then my 1-1 focused training sessions would be something to consider.
1-1 focused training
This training service will be tailored specifically for you and your dogs needs. We will meet for a 1 hour session where we can focus on the issues together and then I’ll set you homework. Which you will work on before the next session.
Group training classes
Group training sessions are an opportunity to train with others who might be experiencing the same issues as you. Working together and sharing experiences can beneficial to both you and your furry friend. Keep an eye out for my different focused training services throughout the year.
Puppy development
During these classes you’ll work on socialisation, obedience and owner education. These skills will help you and your puppy to develop together and have a pawsitive relationship to training. Start your puppy off on the right steps to adulthood.
What happens when you get in contact:
Stage 1 – Inquiry & Consultation
We learn about your dog and their training needs. We will then meet with you to make sure that we are the right fit for you and your dog.
Stage 2 – Custom Care Plan
Every dog is different—we create a plan that fits their needs.
Stage 3 – Support
We provide support during and after the training process, via check-ins.
Pricing:

Group classes will have limited spaces dependant on venue. Please keep an eye out for class capacity information and get booked in early to save dissapointment.

- Additional charge if 2x dogs from the same household require training together.
